customizable hardware, can spend as much or as little as you want on your pc

can use any type of controller
games that wouldn't be possible on console

online games have longer lifespans
mouse is far superior aiming device, makes FPSs more enjoyable, gives you access to games that aren't possible with a controller
can do a million other things, even make your own game or mods

more variety in games, not just locked down to whatever sony or microsoft allow on their console

easier for developers to release games, therefore more games and more experimental games that wouldn't happen on consoles
