You remember the Crash 2 intro where Cortex lands in a dark place with crystals after falling down from the final fight in Crash 1? Well that place is under Cortex castle and was meant to be playable but it was cut out. Probably the most "developed" cut level after stormy ascent.

It´s unfinished, full of bugs, and linear. Returning to previous areas triggers cuscenes and events you already completed. But it´s also pretty funny, self aware, and feels like it was made by people that cared for the ip. Wrath of Cortex was warped again but bad, Twinsanity tried to do a lot of new things, including different switching up character personalities a bit. I´m honestly not sure if you would find it funny playing it for the first time nowadays, but a lot of the things hold up for me, not sure how much of it is nostalgia

The original Crash trilogy has a lot more nostalgia and fame associatyed with it, especially when compared to Twinsanity. You also have to bear in mind just how much content was cut from Twinsanity. They'd basically be creating a whole new game if they brought in everything that was cut.
