It seems to have done pretty well, but there are few similar comparison points.

Sold better than Zelda, but BOTW was for Wii U (shit market) and Switch (new market) while Wildlands is multiplatform.

Didn't sell as well as Horizon which is a PS4 exclusive, but Horizon was a blockbuster with crazy sales.

For a slightly more direct comparison, it crushed For Honor which is also multiplatform and made by Ubisoft. However, For Honor is a new IP with a shit reputation while Wildlands has Tom Clancy/Ghost Recon fame
