Age of Empires 2 HD: Is it good?

So I just found out about this (yeah, I know) and is it a good HD release?

I see that there's 3 expansions to it, are they good, do they feel like they belong or like an aftertought since they're 15 years after the last expansion?

It's alright, graphics are the same with better resolution (but it's not that different from a modded version), new DLCs are ok and don't really feel out of place.
One of them spawned the WE and nigger Portugal/Alberto Barbosa meme.

They removed LAN multiplayer.
But the only decent thing they did, is adding a second IA: now it doesn't emulate how a human would play, it just does everything it can to win (without cheating, unlike the older IA). Nice for singleplayer.
