The Testpunch had less people in the game and thus had a smoother experience.
Shit always happens in online games. Betas/demos are almost always smoother to play online than the actual game.
Why are you wasting your time with party mode though? Ranked matches are where it's at nibba. I've had no issues there besides a kid ragequitting on me because he didn't know how to block my Megawatt for some reason...

I've only had a couple of disconnects that weren't obviously people dodging a loss in ranked.
