I had a major problem with Ryuji 3 but I also came unprepared for him. Terada ate up all my Toughness ZZs. 1 was far easier than the rest though, yeah Jingu is annoying but you can beat Nishiki with your eyes closed. 3 is by far the hardest of the two you mentioned barring Amon simply because you have to deal with all the normal guys, then the SWAT soldiers, then Wesker, then him again, and then Mine all in one take with Mine having attacks that hit like a truck and him gaining super armor via his Heat stuff. Yes the wooden panels drop health items and I think the lockers do as well but that's only like five healing items.

Both Akira and Amon were not harder than Mine. Amon you could literally just Tiger Drop him to death and Akira you just punch and immediately sway behind him for a free combo which you repeat over and over. Mine you have to adapt to all his nonsense and Tiger Dropping at all makes you take tons of damage on top of him sometimes eating it and continuing his combo. Hell, even Komaki is far easier than Mine.

Also, 2 --> Kenzan --> 3 is the proper advancement of the series, and Kenzan was an increase in difficulty over 2. It has the hardest Amon in the series, it has sumo wrestler enemies that can counter you at any point during an attack and throw you, nearly everything in the Houzouin Tournament is out to kill you and barely have any openings while dealing Komaki Tiger Drop levels of damage, all the bosses tend to be ridiculous and require tons of concentration, you are almost never handed any health items in the free roam sections, and the final area is literally an Amon-tier boss, then an entire free roam section with minibosses, and then the proper boss who is easier than the rest of what you dealt with.
