No more than the previous games, but I think a "turbo" secondary difficulty option sounds like a great idea. You move/attack 20-25% faster, enemies move/attack 40-50% faster.
The spell aiming, unarmed attacks and that gorgeous whip attack look great. It's true the visuals can't touch the spritework charm of some of the Vanias, but it still looks good.

Maybe. Not sure about this one, I thought the emptier areas were mostly for demo placement. Will have to see.
For the record, I didn't back it but I am optimistic.

The "problem" with Bloodstained is not that it is slow, but that screens are much larger now. Alucard moves "slow", but it compensated because the layout of the castle is that much smaller.
