I've also played WC2. The style was great, the sounds were great but the gameplay itself was very simplistic. WC3 is not for everyone with its heavy focus on heroes, microing and loads of HP on every unit but it's still a very unique game.

I hope they leave the voices the fuck alone. Modern day blizzard has terrible va's.

on a more serious note I loved the idea of Arthas' story
He starts out as a bright and promising young paladin undead smiting prodigy, see the injustice in non-interference when countless lands are getting raped by the scourge
Splinters off of the orders with his own tiny loyal guard regiment to go fight for what he believe is right
Witnesses the horrors of the legion and it changes him, he loses what belief he had left on the Silver Hand and realizes his dad's incompetence and conclude that he must take matters into his own hands to prevent the worse from happening and he starts slowly descending into the dark in his pursuit of true power and control, not because he's le edge evil villain, but because he genuinely wanted to create a powerful pragmatic power that could keep shit like the scourge and the legion at bay. This is what Therenas's administration lacked horribly from, real decisions and unity. Arthas dealt with undeads just fine as long as the support and obedience needed was here. Silver Hand fucks and every "we cannot take extreme measures because abloobloo" enabler are gay

When was this announced? It's gonna be garbage regardless, since they completely changed their map creator scene since then. It's much more restrictive and clunky now.
