What do you mean by recovery time? Also he is very, very easy to punish. If he's charged up just throw out one arm and then throw the other after he does his super dash.

I've been beasting lately with Telles, and even being 'fair' while I do. I barely leave the ground, been working on my mix-up game and getting my slow-mo's down pat.

Usually in a fighting game, I feel the urge to play with other characters, just to give myself a break from my main, but in this one, it actually gets boring if I attempt to switch from Telles.

I've tried with ARMS. I've really tried but I just can't git gud.
What is the learning curve on this and where do I go to learn the meta?

I feel like the game is giving me no guidance or help but the AI is fucking training for EVO and knows all the counters and best arms to use.

It's just Wii Boxing but they sold it to me for $60 by calling it an eSport, didnt they? :(

Go watch videos if you aren't the type to learn by playing. There are alot of advanced mechanics that are even listed in the help/tip menus (can dash out of a guard to punish, learn to stay grounded more since jumping is super punishable, rush activation parries any punch of throw, being offensive builds rush way faster). The game is deeper than many people give it credit for but to anyone looking it at its wii boxing 2.0
