That was actually worse, because Nintendo's online infrastructure is worse and the specs are inferior. MH on the 3DS has lower resolution than on the PSP, being released one gen / 7 years later, which was atrocious.

At the very least, now you can see what's going on in the screen, regardless of your platform of choice, without being restricted to dog shit 240p@20fps.

MH:W has not made any casualization of the IP. Its being placed within a space where it will be able to see some real growth instead of rereleasing titles with additional features.

Finally we are going to have a high fidelity MH title that can expand through content updates. And it'll no longer be restrained from handheld console hardware limitations.
