It's funny in a not-at-all funny way because in order to do that, you need to reassure yourself time and time again that you want to keep going. Reality WILL keep knocking the door every now and then, telling you to stop and you just need to invent reasons to ignore reality. And that's why so many speedrunners eventually become trannies.
