Because the only places you can find steam friends in are those dedicated "steam friend threads" which only attracts cancerous people.

It's difficult to find some alright friends who aren't into that "l-l-lewd" anime girl erping nonsense. Somehow, I've managed to find a few.

I've been posting on /v/ for 12 fucking years now and I still have never added anyone from /v/ let alone 4chan as a whole on any sort of friends list of mine, you're all terrible.

I do have a girl from /v/ on my friends list though, she's a really good co-op partner.
