>Game comes out
>Get preorder bonuses if you preorder
>They want you to buy the game blindly, at full price, because they don't trust bought reviews anymore
>Buy the game, but in order to play 100% of it you need to spend another 20 to 30 bucks for the season pass of DLC
Why are people doing this?
You can return the games once you got the preorder code and more often than not you not only get the games cheaper about 2 months after release, but oftentimes you get the game with all the DLC and sometimes the sequel in a bundle for like a quarter of the inital price.
Or you can wait a year or so, play anything else, and get that game for cheaper with the DLC during a summer sale.
Because nu gamers love sharing photos of the games they buy.

Because games isnt about games anymore, its about everyone wanting to be a nerd because their life is so shallow that they want attention, and whats the best way to get attention that be that nerdy guy who was always made fun of for not wanting to go outside and decided to chill in his room with his vidya. So companies just provide and suck every last penny possible as long as people allow it, thats why companies are always looking for spacegoats to blame for if their game is shit. Which brings us at the braindead buyers and the cycle repeats with any hobby.

I pre ordered P5 but that game was already out in Nihon for a year.
The worst thing about games is that they're broken and unfinished at release. But honestly does anyone even care anymore? This hobby has changed.

Remember that people used to believe in river god's? We're exactly the same now, just that the lies have become slightly more sophisticated.
The same morons 400 years would be screaming with spit erupting through their yellow broken teeth for the death of the heretic are now the same people who pre-order DLC shitfests.
Humanity has failed. God is dead. We killed him.

Autistic way of saying the truth, but spot on.
