The teleporting thing could have entirely been avoided if they had Max move backwards during the rewind as well, but they'd have to rework some of the levels with that in mind. The storm never should have actually showed up. It was set up to be a looming threat, and it should have stayed like that. Besides, in the ending where Chloe lives she's just going to die again anyway, the storm was the universe trying to kill her off because she's supposed to be dead, is that just going to stop after the storm or what.

No matter what anyone says I must say this, Life is Strange rejuvanted my love for these kinds of games. The Walking Dead season 1 hit close to home and I been wanting something like it. At the time the Wolf Among Us was amazing and I though Telltale had this genre won, but then Season 2 of The Walking Dead was running along side TWAU and it dropped the ball hard. The first episode of Tales from the Borderlands was funny, but awkward in some places. I felt like this kind of game was dying with the monopoly Telltale had on it. I remember a streamer I watch a lot on Twitch playing Life is Strange a few days after it came out due to his friends saying it's amazing, at first he didn't take it seriously due to the dialouge, but slowly he grew to love it and so did I. LiS felt like a step in the right direction. The time mechanic was interesting and put a twist on the butterfly effect of options within these kinds of games. I proceeded to watch other Telltale products like GoT, Minecraft, Batman, Micchone, TWD S3, and Guardians of the Galaxy and they just simply pale in comparison to LiS in what it presents. Yeah, it's kinda cringy sometimes, but it does present very interesting ideas.

I realized the problem with my second choice exactly after I selected it.

Felt like I really killed someone that day. Even losing people in Telltale's TWD due to my shitty choices never affected me as much. Couldn't focus at work or sleep the next few weeks after. I plan to go back again and play through one more time to try and save her. Someday.

It made the game better though when you see her during the crazy sequence in episode 5 and hug her and tell her it's gonna be okay.
