I only play exclusives on console. Everything else is far superior.

I didn't see a reason to buy gaming PC anymore because it had no games that interest me and that would make that purchase worth it.
My laptop is good enough for everything PC related and so far it looks like I will switch toconsoles for following years.

But believe me, PCfags, that I would be the irst one to build one, but there are literally no games that interest me on PC besides multiplats.

If I wanted to make the biggest change in my computer build, would you:
Change a garbage mouse to a great mouse?

basically right now, it's foolish to go for intel uness your are getting something like the i7 7700k or something. but that costs like a 1000 bucks. the newest intel lineup they announce seems like a meme too, making you pay extras for features that are already there. Kinda like on-disc dlc but for a chipset.

if you don't have a problem with AMD i wuld go for that for the time being. if you need something right now. you can overclock a 1700/1700x to meet or exceed the performance of a 1800x. that would be around $350. you can also get an R5 1600/1600x which is even cheaper. Supposedly that is perfectly fine for gaming as well. Just be carefulw with what ram you buy with ryzen as compatibility is iffy right now. check the qualified vendor list for each mothboard.

you can get an FX-6300, and you will be able to decently game on most current games for the time being, but the instructions per cycle of the FX series chips vs the ryzen series is terrible. They are dirt cheap compared to ryzen because nobody wants em anymore.

The only way to really use them now is to load up your system with watercooling and overclock the shit out of them. but factoring in the costs of watercooling, you arent really saving all that much.
