A Yugioh where you can actually play as the Monster. Dark, Light, Fiend, Reptile, Water, Fire, Wind, etc. It incorporates every little story, detail, lore of each and every card like one big RPG game.

Something like Duel Links/Over the Nexus. You don't have to pay money to buy extra packs, so no paywall/pay to win bullshit, NPC duelists give Duel Points if you duel them which is required to buy packs/cards while dueling vs real players gives more so it encourages PvP. But what I really want is a Duel Mode specifically made in the game to be the focus, kind of like how you can only Speed Duel in Duel Links. That way it gives players a reason to play the game on top of it also being somewhat separated from the TCG/OCG irl and doesn't take any money away from Konami so that they support it. Having a unique, rotating banlist for the game would also be nice and making the Duel Mode in the game have multiple different scenarios per game would allow players to try out multiple types of decks and not stick to just one like in the TCG/OCG.

I'm also a huge synchrofag(sad because they've been sucking dick for a while now) and Shooting Star Dragon is my favorite card.

Video games are the best way to get started with YGO. Tag Force Special or Legacy of the Duelist are good options as far as official options go, but they aren't up-to-date. The story modes are cool though.
There are also free sims like Ygopro which has all the cards, is up-to-date, and AI to practice against.
