I just finished TNO today, after not touching a Wolfenstein game since Return. I'm really excited for II.

I am actually super hyped for this.
I loved TNO, I never played Old Blood because I assumed >DLC
And I got it because 10 dollars on sale last week, and holeeee shiiiiittt it was so good. Even better than TNO, although replaying it I remember why I never finished a second playthrough.

The missions and shooting is fun as fuck, and it starts off super strong, but the padding and slow story pacing drags a bit. Especially once you're going through a second time.
Old Blood didn't have that problem, the story sections were fewer and over with quicker, by and large it was just a string of fights with breathers in between.
And 1946 has a way better aesthetic than 1960 did.

If TNC is more like Old Blood than TNO then it's going to be fuckin 10/10 binge materiel for me. I'm also banking on B.J. punching the commie fuck at some point in the game.

Also looking forward to that. I really enjoyed Valkyrie Profile's combat and I'm also interested in games with settings and mythologies that are rarely explored.
