Melee is always shit, no matter what
Spells give no feedback whatsoever
Archery is easy mode

Skyrim is good as a porn sim and for taking pretty screenshots, that's about it.

Personally I tried everything I could and ultimately spent more time modding the game than playing it. It's just rubbish.

It can be a fun modding platform. Sometimes it feels cool to walk and interact with the world you made better with mods.

It's not a completely awful game, and it's certainly not one of the best games ever, as a lot of people like to put it. The fact that it was #1 on Game Informer's top 100 RPGs just shows how the public views this game.

Like it or not, Skyrim will be remembered as a classic.

You can't roleplay properly in skyrim. You're fucking forced into the mythic nord-culture bullshit, even if you wanted to make a staunch high elf-thalmor supporter, you are ALWAYS railroaded into working with blades, drowning in nordshit, etc. Or even if you wanted to roleplay a character that doesn't completely clash with the story, it still doesn't work. Want to make a dark elf vampire character? Well, you're also ALWAYS going to be railroaded into being the dragonborn, making you some ridiculous ninja-pirate-zombie-robot mishmash of miscellaneous cutting room scraps every. single. time.
