I don't. I have complaints but I don't hate the game, I think it was awesome.

>What is bad about this game?
It is, by far, the single shortest FF game story I've ever played. There was a total of 20 hours for the main campaign while 6, 10, and 13/13-2/LR which are the only ones I've beaten, lasted at least double at the least.

>What is good?
Good characters, lots of content (I've played over 100 hours), pretty fun.

not to mention shit that happens off screen

For me its because of how westernized it was

>Check list style western quests with no meaning
>Combat is perhaps even worse than your standard Assass Creed affair
>NPCs have nothing to do with the on going story, just random fetch quests
>Car is on rails.

Noctis had a hard life.

mother murdered in front of him as a child
father sends him off then gets murdered
waifu murdered in front of him
then he has to sacrifice his life just to kill some ancient evil asshole
