Putting aside the fact the gameplay is generic and didn't do anything new, it was solid and still enjoyable.
Story-wise, it's true the writer is a pretentious douchenozzle (hurr durr stop playing the game you bought faget, ur monster), it's actually really fucking good if you just take it at face value. That you're viewing a man's descent into PTSD-fueled insanity.
The extras are also flat-out great. Music is awesome, visuals are crisp and stunning and the myriad easter eggs hidden throughout that showcase Walker's hallucinations were really well implemented. Things like how the dialogue and design of the main characters get progressively more and more fucked up. You start out professional, with clear orders full of military jargon and callsigns only to degrade to screaming "kill that motherfucker!!".
Despite these flaws, Spec Ops: The Line was a genuine good game. Not great, but good.

other things (it can get wet and i would not like that, plus 2 compartments looks more kawaii)
