what do
>>381242672
Mix it with the Orichalcum and nine Glass frit to turn it into the best weapon in the game.

thanks anon
DQ6 is great so far, just got Ra's Mirror. My only complaint is that it's too easy, feels like they've been getting easier as I go along.

Xenoblade 2
I did the boring friends route last time, this time I wanna befriend Dagda.
SMT and Persona are the only JRPGs that matter anymore.
I don't know what JRPG to play.
I certanly don't want to play FF because I couldn't force myself to go through them. These games are surprisingly unappealing to me.
I've played Chrono Trigger though.
What should I play?
Bonus point for a game where you have diverse party like in CT.

Try Dragon Quest then. I don't like Final Fantasy either so I get where your coming from. Dragon Quest is just nice simple fun. Start with either DQIII on snes/sfc or DQV with either the sfc/snes version or the ps2 version.

DQIII it is then.
Thanks.

Play 1 first.
>>381247027
No problem. Remember to get the translated sfc/snes, this is by far the best version. DQIII is pretty good in how open ended it is. You are able to make your own party and quite a bit of the game is non linear.

played & finished breath of fire 1 for the first time this week. Not gona lie if I wasn't playing on 200% speed emulator I wouldn't have finished it.

If we're counting SRPGs, my favorites are
>Chrono Trigger
>Breath of Fire 2
>Vandal Hearts
curently playing a bunch
>Grandia PS1(first time)
>Lunar Eternal Blue (first time)
and if you count indies (hopefully you do) then also
>Pier Solar
>Cosmic Star Heroine
I'll refrain from mentioning future titles, just to keep things retrospective.
Any JRPG with fun classes and/or skill trees?
Already tried my luck with Etrian Odyssey but man, that games beating me like I stole something
>what are your favorites
Xenoblade, Skies of Arcadia, Tales of the Abyss, Bravely Default
>playing any currently
Fire Emblem Echoes, Super Mario RPG (only have to topple the last few bosses and then I'm done), Dragon Quest III (only started it, want to beat the other two before I commit)
>what are you looking forward to
Backlog: got DQ VII & VIII on 3ds and have not touched them yet. Likely won't until after I beat III.
New releases: Etrian Odyssey V and DQXI look dope af.
God I love Akira Toriyama's style so much. I wish I could into DQ.

I really love DQVII for its job system. Do note though, the game is around 100 hours and you don't get access to the job system until around 20 hours in.
