* BANG!!! *
My PSU just failed guys,
and I'm too pissed off to buy new PC parts for the moment, and pc game scene was kinda dead in 2017
Money is no objection, what console should I buy?
Is it wise to buy X.B.O.X. instead of new pc?

I Hope so!
If I buy a new PSU and the mobo is fried,
Can it damage the new PSU?
I would like to return it to Amazon if it doesn't boot

i wouldn't think it would damage it but check google to be sure

Stormblood came out
Not a game but I've been having fun with it
so you're going to buy a console and be unable to use your sc instead of getting new parts?
are you retarded or just an excuse to post anime?

Check the capacitors and sockets on the motherboard.
Are any of the capacitors popped out?
Many family businesses will plug in a tester PSU and power on your mobo and to a physical test on the sockets to verify it.
Also, standard certified 80 PSU's typically will have a burn out switch inside of them that will kill power through each connector in the case of critical failure.

It was a Corsair cx 750 so silver I guess
Thanks for helping

Corsair is a great brand. I'm not sure about their warranty times but typically they have a 3-5 year life guarantee before assumable mean time to fail. Vendors might even be able to replace or lower the price of another corsair unit.
If you got another desktop in the house you can test with that PSU, or even take it to a shop and have them test the motherboard for 40 bucks or whatever.
