If you want emulation on the go it's better to go with either the GPD XD or GPD Win. The latter can emulate everything up to the Dreamcast/PSP and take fuck all to setup.

It does now. The point was the original 3DS had serious problems with SNES and the N3DS only just manages, N64 is way out of the 3DS' league, even the PSX is easier to emulate than N64.

You can play GBA games but they look god awful because it's not a 1:1 pixel rate, so everything looks blurry and off.
You can run them at native res, but then the screen becomes smaller than a GBA micro.
