Thank christ. As a Samsung TV owner this was annoying as fuck. I actually would take my Switch out of the dock when not in use.

In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, Samsung TVs will automatically switch to whatever HDMI input got turned on most recently. For some reason Switch while in standby mode with send a signal to the TV that it was on every once in awhile while being in standby, resulting in the TV changing the input to the Switch's blank screen input.

I'm not a big fan of ARMS, but if you feel interested in it, pick it up.
Splatoon 2 is coming up soon, and is probably going to be the must have online game of the summer, and for a long ass while.
Mario, Xenoblade, and Sonic Mania are all coming out later this year.

friend codes only exist as a secondary method of adding friends nowadays. Any reason to complain about friend codes only exists on the 3ds. The Wii U and Switch both let you add friends using methods that are far simpler than friend codes were.

Same here I've had it since launch day no screen protector and I haven't had a single scratch despite constantly using it in portable and docking mode. The only person I know with a switch is this guy from work who is a total klutz. The game needed a fleshed out items system like Mario Kart or Smash. I mean its the same fucking developers they should know all about why items are necessary for party mode to keep things interesting

If the game had weapons you could pick up, powerups, buffs/debuffs,etc, then it could also use these to flesh out its single player mode too. Games like River City Ransom show how easily thats done. This is a fighting game with no real single player and no items, so ALL you can do is play 1v1 or gimmick modes and that's not enough content to keep me interested more than a couple hours before its boring
