In terms of my personal opinion? I expect Mario to be great as they usually are, Crash to be okay but the remakes to be fucked up somehow, Sonic Forces to be mediocre at best, and Mania to be great and probably my favorite of the bunch.

Technically I'd already say Mario, since Sonic's better game this year will most likely not be the 3D one and Crash being a remaster is kinda cheating.

Mario games have the most universal appeal and the highest average quality. And people trust Nintendo more than any other company.

Mario will win, this isn't even really a contest, he's defined and redefined 3d platforming like 3 times and done the same for 2d platforming, Crash hasn't achieved anything, I guess you could say his games were fun but then again so were games like gex and glover, they weren't anything special or significant, just fun, but Crash was pushed as Sony's mascot so achieves an undeserved special place. Sonic has more defined his own niche approach to not even really platforming. Sonic Mania will be maybe fun, idk, Sonic really only showed an understanding of level design starting with 2, but only got it partially right, then with Sonic 3 they got another part right but the parts they did in Sonic 2 wrong, Christian Whitehead is like the autist that Sonic always needed, and it appears that he's getting the level design finally fucking right.
