I had trouble with the farting mechanic in stick of truth. I couldn't figure out the tutorial, and just ended up luckily getting passed it, and then never used it in battle.

The way the dancing worked was that you had to move the stick in any direction whenever a beat came. After a while, you'll get the rhythm of the song down and can anticipate the beats. When it says 'hold', you just need to hold the stick in a direction for a while. Poorly explained, I know, even I didn't get it for a good long while.
