I've always heard that alchemy is insanely overpowered in morrowind, but I've never actually been able to replicate what I hear it can do.
How do I go about making potions that are so powerful they overflow my stats and put them to 0?

i haven't played morrowind but i believe you make potions that boost your alchemy which will boost your alchemy for subsequent potions

Do I need specific weapon skills for battle mage? If I plan to conjure an axe, should I go ahead and have it as a major skill?

Steal Master alchemy tools, All four of em.

Make fortify Intelligence potions. Drink, Repeat.

Continue until INT is in the 10k+

Then keep going. Alchemy EVEYRTHING.
