How come /v/ never talks about this? Was it so good it just went over everybodys head? I thought /v/ were proud of not being casual fucks.

Sell me on this game as someone who has extremely high standards of videogames and likes the objective facets of a game.

For example, I like when a game has substance, so as it's not a simple waste of time. I also like when a game has gameplay depth, so that I can feel a sense of progression as I get better. I also like when a game is rewarding, whether it be through ingame rewards for completing something or simply through extremely satisfying sound direction.

Why would I play this game over any other indie game on steam? Why would I play this game over a masterpiece like La-mulana or Majora's Mask?

Can OP achieve this task without calling me autistic or a loser? Well, he's essentially lost yet another potential sale. Does he think that his game can truly "wow" anyone in the same year that Breath of the Wild, NieR Automata, Hollow Knight, and Resident Evil 7 came out?

This game is a good example of what a puzzle/platform game should be.
It is not an endless runner as one might think from the captures, but a very clever frantic puzzle jumping hell.

It begins fairly easy, asking only from you some reflexes while you learn the basics, and then difficulty arise, slamming you in the face.
It is well balanced; some bits will nonetheless make you wish you dropped your controller before thinking "just one more level".
The achievements are well thought -- being what I call "usefull achievements" -- requiring from you to play the game with a different approach, making you discover how well the levels are designed (for instance, the "finish a level going only in one direction without stopping or dying", or "finish a level without moving (jumping doesn't count)").
The art style is clever and gorgeous, and the music sets you well in the mood.

Overall, it's a great game, and a gem for speedrunners!

Not sure? Try out the demo, the rest of the game is the same, WAY HARDER.

Why would I pay 10 bucks for this when it was 2,84 just last year?
You better send me a coupon man.

Hi dev
>>
just checked it out on steam.
looks like my mom would like this game, definitely gonna pirate it for her.
>>
>>381114985

Delete this now you stupid faggot!! A small one-man dev works hard on making a unique and challenging expierence and includes a free demo and you post a link to the pirate version? You are literally scum and a parasite.

Dude stop, you're only embarrassing yourself.

>This game is a good example of what a puzzle/platform game should be.
What does that even mean?

>It is not an endless runner as one might think from the captures, but a very clever frantic puzzle jumping hell.
Can you try to speak less with buzzwords and more direct? I don't even know what you're saying.

>It begins fairly easy, asking only from you some reflexes while you learn the basics, and then difficulty arise, slamming you in the face.
>It is well balanced; some bits will nonetheless make you wish you dropped your controller before thinking "just one more level".
>The art style is clever and gorgeous, and the music sets you well in the mood.

This describes thousands of games, all ranging from poorly made to extremely well-made, mostly because everything you stated was extremely subjective and based solely on how much experience a person has with videogames, what makes this different?

>The achievements are well thought -- being what I call "usefull achievements" -- requiring from you to play the game with a different approach, making you discover how well the levels are designed (for instance, the "finish a level going only in one direction without stopping or dying", or "finish a level without moving (jumping doesn't count)")
I feel like making these achievements instead of optional challenges gives it the same vibe that you created the levels first and then came up with the achievements after. Most games that were designed to be replayed in a different way have this feature ingame.
>>
Query:
Why not pirate it, try it out, and then decide if it's worth buying?
>>
>>381115520

Because there is an official demo on steam you fool

steam://install/390800
>>
>>381115520
Because the developer doesn't have that much faith in his own game that people will purchase his game after beating it.

I remember when I pirated La-mulana, I ended up buying five copies of it afterward because of how good of a game it was, and then donated 150 to the sequels kickstarter.

And nobody did that to me except for the game, the developer doesn't think his game is truly 10/10.

looks like one of those super boring 8bit trial and error newgrounds games

you couldn't pay me enough money to play something like this.

I said send me a coupon, you have 10 minutes if you want a sale.

I mean it's a nice idea and all but it still looks like a circular dodge all the stuff game to me.

And in that case we already have games like Soundodger or Super Hexagon.

If you had built actual levels instead of circle after circle where you jump over some enemies it would have had some merit.
>>
>>381112829
played that for like 10 mins and got bored
>>381113651
>>381113794
why did proof of the repeated shilling get delet'd?
>>
>>381113872
such as?
>>
It's a fun high score type game. I'd get it on sale though.
>>
this is obviously a troll trying to discredit a game for giggles
nobody seriously shilling would use 'xd' or type very condescending
>>
>>381115657
I love how the dev doesn't disprove this.
>>
OP never sent me the cupon, gonna pirate and seed the shit out of this game.
