It most definitely is, a worthy paper mario game that really didn't get the credit it's deserved due to the shit system it's on. Also turn off the touch controls during fights. Still have to select cards and shit but amazing game.

The world suffers from generic toad, the gameplay is mindless as all hell. I'd just watch the good parts on youtube.
It's like SPM: full of great ideas but the gameplay itself sucks and there are some really questionable design ideas too.
It's also like a mix of TTYD and SS. So, either do or do not play it depending on how much you like one and dislike the other.
I enjoyed the game but it just made me even more thirsty for a proper Paper Mario 3.

The side characters in CS are MUCH more interesting and memorable than anything in TTYD due to their unique roles in the overall plot, incredible sense of humor, and overall uniqueness IN SPITE OF THE WAY THEY LOOK.
Beauty isn't skin deep, faggot. There's a real sense of progression in CS that is simply not present in TTYD. The world in TTYD felt divided and, once a chapter had been concluded, those characters and ideas introduced were never really relevant again.

It's barely worth your time, the best parts about it are the dialogue & areas, beyond that it's pretty shit. Here's everything wrong with it that comes to mind:
>Slow ass repetitive battle system that only has basic A-presses (no variety on how you deal the attack)
>Battle Menuing is longer than is should take and organization is worse than Sticker Star even
>"EXP" is pointless beyond the first few level ups since coins are given to you everywhere (Kamek, paint spots, Shy Bandit, Mini-game doors, Roshambo, etc.) and you can use the thousands of coin in shops and the Battle Spinner (literally hit the 9999 cap before fighting the second boss), basically killing incentive
>Battle Spinner is abusable since you can just keep getting and using Thing replicas every turn for 10 coins (just count the cards if you really can't pick which one you want while it's spinning)
>Outside of battles all solutions rely on Cut-out or your Paint Hammer, no variety in puzzle solutions basically
>Backtracking for Mini-Paint Stars on-tier with TTYD (Kiwano Temple & Sunglow Ridge you do twice with no differences, Mossrock Theater you do half the level twice with no differences, Plum Park has a 2 exits (at least it's a small area), etc.)
>At one moment there is a sketchy Shy Guy is willing to sell you cards for Snifit or Whiffit, but you'll need to drop 30 cards if you're at the 99 cap like I was and weren't even aware you needed those cards for the quiz you'll most likely get a insta-Game Over for not having the right cards
