I'm in the opposite boat, I played Arkham Knight and thought it was decent (way too much Batmobile though and the writing was weird at times) but I'm not sure if the Arkham Remaster is worth it. I hear it changes up the art style as well which is another minus.

If you get it on sale you shouldn't have any regrets. It's a perfectly fine game though the Batmobile takes too much away from the rest of the game and if you know anything about Batman you shouldn't be surprised by the "twist."

Fucking yes, Batman games are fun as fuck my nigga.

The more time passes since the last time I played Knight, the less I like it. There's just so little of actual good stuff and so much of "okay" stuff or worse. Many of the side activities like clearing out encampments/whatever can be fun to do once since they do mix up the design/difficulty a lot, but imagining doing that again is just horrible. Not to mention Riddler is ass in this game and Batmobile stuff really isn't very fun.
It's fun for one playthrough, and not much more I think.

Knight follows almost immediately after City and Jason at that point was supposed to have been dead for several years.
Either way the way they hamfisted his introduction just makes the player immediately question why the writers felt such a strong need to tell the story of that particular character, and the only conclusion one achieve from there is that because his supposed death should be important to the player.
