Hello, \v\, I'm getting my first (Windows desktop) PC soon, and that's why I'm looking for your recommendations. For now, I'm mostly interested in graphics (because I've spent a lot of money on my build).
I'm currently looking at:
>Crysis 3
People always rave about this game's graphics, you can also see it a LOT in benchmark tests. IMO, it's just another stupid linear past-gen FPS with obnoxious post processing, but I could be wrong.
>Skyrim: SE
Also past-gen, but the mods (for graphics) look interesting.
>GTA V
Also past-gen, but at least the remaster looks great.
>Minecraft
It's a strange one (also past-gen, kek), but the shaders online look pretty
>Doom 2016
Fast game that looks good on a high refresh monitor, is supposed to better with KB/M
>Forza Horizon 3
racing games generally look good, right?
Did I miss anything? Also, are there any PC games that look better than Uncharted 4 or Horizon: ZD (ignoring the resolution/FPS count)?
>racing games generally look good, right?
Not really. It's just cars and concrete.

the screenshot I found online for my OP look great
but yeah, cars are easier to get right than people

Crysis hasn't been a graphics benchmark for years now, the first one was unique but now they're at or below top quality on the market.
If you spend a fair amount of time modding skyrim you can get insane graphics but it's not a good benchmark as the mods may not be optimized amd mixed mods might have weird performance results so performance could drop even if your rig could handle the quality.
I haven't kept up with racing games but they seem to be at the forefront of graphics quality these days.

Only having to work on cars and concrete is the exact reason why those games can look incredible, they can afford to spend hundreds of man hours on only a couple categories.
I have a medium quality rig so I couldn't really point out any incredible quality games off the top of my head. A few that come to mind that look really good on my settings so probably look even better at max are Battlefield One, the EA Battlefront, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Warframe, Just Cause 3 (very poor optimization and performance though), and For Honor
