I didn't play it again until the Wii U version. I'm not bothered by framerate and most of the shit that people online are, but the difference is noticeable. Combat is smoother and loading is faster. If the PS3 is your only option like you say, then it's worth it, but if you ever get the chance to play a better version, you should ditch the PS3 version for good

It's abhorrent, if you have a ps3 slim you'll have framedrops on every fight, on big fights like the starting one you'll be dealing with less than 20 FPS.

It is that bad. Even after patches, it hurts to play the PS3 version.

The important question to ask yourself OP is how much you care about framerate. It is absolutely playable. People have gotten the platinum for fucks sake.

the 6gigs patch did wonders, but it was still a messed up version.

the patch reduced loading and slightly helped framerate. I'd recommend PC version(WiiU probably also fine)

After the patch it's improved a lot from the initial release version. Patch also added the option to install the game on th HDD, which helps load times a lot.

It's perfectly playable, just not as nice as other versions. Only time franerate got game breakingly bad was in a segment with no combat. PS3 version should be lowest priority, but don't miss out on the game if it's your only option.
