Because the games on PC are cheaper than the console counter parts and they look and run better. Spend a lot now and you'll save in the long run if you play a lot of games. And you will be playing a lot of games since most games that aren't developed by Sony/Nintendo also come out on PC.

Every game that matters is on PC and is much better on PC. Also, console plebs literally can't play RTS games. a whole genre out of reach
