I didn't find Bloodborne to be that difficult aside from a couple of bosses which took me a long time, although I've had experience playing all the other souls games prior so I knew what to expect. A couple of the DLC bosses are pretty difficult (you should definitely play the DLC, it has some of the best content in the entire game).
