I have the opposite experience, I was not hyped at all but bought it with some friends and played it with them over the weekend.

It was one of the best weekend we ever had, this game has so many brilliant ideas, the apple planet with his worm, the beach bowl galaxy, the planets which are just a bubble of water, the toy time galaxy... I don't know, it really felt magical.
