I've yet to play a Metroid game that I didn't enjoy in some capacity at least, so yes.

The special edition doesn't seem to be available at Amazon at the moment, but I'm not too concerned about paying another $10 for a CD and a cardboard sleeve when I don't have anything with a disc drive I use on a daily basis besides my car.

Yes, I want to support 2D Metroid games, which is why I won't be supporting 2.5D games like Samus Returns.
