This game... no, wait a minute... this game AND the entire fucking series SUCKS.

If it takes me on average 3.5 magazines and 4 jams to kill a single bandit, how can HE kill me instantly with a single rusted pistol bullet? Or how can he one-shot me with the double-barrel shotgun from the other end of the map... but I can't hit him once with my Vintorez?

The atmosphere in the game is cool, but THQ went hard on the alcohol during the optimization phase.

Don't get any of those games... even if they are 3 bucks in the Steam sale tomorrow.

How to play STALKER: SOC

>get the sawn off, do not use pistols, do not use the shitty early game 5.45x39mm guns
>buy as many slugs as you can, stack 5 stone flowers, use the highest bulletproof cap armor you can find
>start sniping everything until you get the fast shooting AKM
>use that exclusively until you get a gun that shoots 9x39mm or 5.56x45mm
