I'm tired of SFV and Tekken isn't for me since I prefer 2D fighters. Is King of Fighter XIV worth picking up now? Is the game any fun? Is the online active? I'm playing on PS4

Kof XIV is good, though the online has never been too alive and haven't checked in a while, but it probably hasn't gotten better.

Never played it but it has the best roster of any fighting game out right now. 54 characters and at least 90% of them are pretty cool.
Buy it used and just mess around with some of them, you'll get your money's worth
