The point was to out gaming media as corrupt conspirators. And force them to reform their practices, or otherwise make their audiences more aware and better informed.

It did accomplish what it set out to do in parts. But it wasn't a giant industry shifting change. I'd like to believe people are more savvy now than before.

It raised awareness to sjw shenanigans and the cancer that is feminism.
It also forced gaming journalists to think twice before diving deep into bias politics.
Overall, it helped spreading awareness to political correctness being pushed by the alt left and stopped feminism of taking over gaming, something taht didn't happen with comics.

Granted, there is still a lot of extremist liberal propaganda being pushed, but shit like that is mocked by gamers and devs aren't that comfortable with shoving social awarness into their games
