I'll never forget seeing him tear up and yet be able to compose himself in front of 30 kids. I don't think anyone noticed him cry except me, I watched Mr. Petty that entire class instead of the TV.

We did nothing all day but watch the news in every class. What sticks with me though is watching Mr. Petty and how he felt sad for his fellow Americans that day. as a little kid and being 28 now, it's always stuck with me.
