role actions have fucking ruined the whole game and completely changed lore

bards don't sing anymore, they have instant cast spells

Haven't yet tried out other classes but so far aside from the loss of about 2 skills my Dragoon doesn't really play that much different and once I start SB proper will also be gaining new skills.
