Real hardware is usually shit. No save states, RF or composite picture, having to track down a separate cheat device, no filters to make the pixelated picture look better. Collections and collecting in general needs to be looked on with more apprehension by society. From my own observations it was so in the past. Being an adult "collector" to the point where it was the dominant aspect of your life is mentally unhealthy. And rather selfish and irresponsible.
