If you are playing on PC, just use CE.
2000 / 2500 should be enough for single player / local coop.
On consoles there are certain mission with infinitely respawning silver spiders/golden ants.
Get yourFencer with dual Jackhammers, rubberband your triggers and wait an hour for 800+ armour.
