But prime is one of the few games motion controls improved. I know it usually makes a game worse, but it made metroid so good they re released the previous two with the motion controls.
And it was great.
The trick is to adjust the settings so you don't have to go all the way to the edge of the screen to turn.

I asked the same question about a year ago and I was told to try the Prime Trilogy as I hadn't yet. I do own it on Wii but I still never tried it as I played the Gamecube version on Dolphin with the Wii U Gamecube controller adapter instead. Apart from minor framedrops when jumping in pools of water it played perfectly.

It's actually a setting in the prime trilogy itself.
I played it on the Wii hardware and there's a setting in there that lowers the aim tolerance so that you turn much more easily.

Nintendo would be retarded to reintroduce motion controls for a 2017 console fps. I don't think that the switch even supports motion the same way the Wii did. Arms is played with the gyroscope in the controllers it seems the Wii was IR based.

Yeah. Finished Prime 1 an hour ago, been playing Echoes since. It's different from what I remember. Really hate the changes to scanning and the menu. Why couldn't they keep it clean and simple like Prime 1?

Chill the fuck out faggot. I played these games on release during the 6th gen too. I can appreciate that they were trying something different but it doesn't put them past criticism. There was no need to fuck with the way scanning or the menu worked, it's not like it could have made the game more fun or anything. Now the shit's just clunkier and more unintuitive.

Had actually pulled my Prime Trilogy copy out before E3. Work is getting in the way but I'm just about finished with 1. Got the Phazon armor and I'm cleaning up artifacts.

I was initially saddened about how as an adult it seemed so much less mazelike and daunting as an adult but man after everything is opened up its a pretty intimidating world still. It's linear enough that I remember rooms and paths but they put so many interwoven connections and elevators it makes the whole thing feel huge and confusing. I've loved getting lost in this game again even if I'm not exactly getting "lost" like I did as a kid.

MP is a rather slow shooter, there's not much insane action going on, especially with lock-on.
I played MP3 maybe a year or so ago with Dolphin, but the motion controls didn't add terribly much interesting or made the game significantly easier.
