Internet connections work fine, Sony says this is because of a "DDoS IP ban" whatever the fuck that means
>>380945975

>Can't afford dynamic IP
Why are you even playing PS4? Why are you even on the internet?
Hey OP, if you're using a modem and router, like comcasts shitty thing, don't set the comcast one to use only one ethernet port, let that shit stay on and connect to your router normally. I had this problem for months and that's how I fixed it.
>buy ps4 at launch
>have to reset my modem every 3 days or it wont connect
>>380947562
>Can't afford dynamic IP
you have to pay extra to have a static IP
>>380948956
What do you mean connect to it normally
>>380949320
Like have no bullshit with your modem, then connect to your router.
It's weird but that's how it works for me.
My Microsoft Windows 7 Personal Computer network system is working fine, OP :). Check your Internet connection.
>>380947562
The network I'm on needs a static reference for some of the things it hosts.
>>380948956
Currently my modem is flagged as a DMZ and just forwards all traffic to my router. You're saying to turn all that off and just leave the modem unchanged?
>>380947562
Most ISPs don't actually provide dynamic IPs to residential addresses in the US anymore.
