As much as I like the game, I agree with you OP. The trailer was so off the mark, it made the game seem like a true cinematic experience. In reality though, the game is paced so slowly that you really have no sense of heroism whenever you do anything

Link has literally zero meaningful connection to any of the characters, except mayber Daruk, I guess. Mipha was just a generic beastiality love interest. Urbosa... meh. I haven't gotten to the flying bird fag yet.

Compare this to Wind Waker, or Twilight Princess. Great characters, and you actually gave a shit about them. Even Skyward Sword was better.

World is nice, but there is litterally nothing of worth to find except koroks.

Quest rewards consist of souless Rupee rewards. No milk bottle tier rewards

If you find a minigame/obstacle course in the game you just get rupee rewards.

Gameplay is constantly broken by having to pause to eat. I feel like eating and inventory management was meant to have been seemless on the Wii U controller, but the feature was very obviously axed to prop up the Switch version a bit

More like FART OF THE WILD!

Would've been better if they stuck to the classic formula. In old Zeldas you went through temples and picked up new unique items like the hookshot or masks or whatever in all of them. In this one you get a bunch of powers in the early tutorial section and that's it the rest of the loot is shit in every dungeon.
