I played Colosseum and I liked it a lot. I got a lot of rare pokemon on there that i couldnt get from the handheld games (the dogs, maybe Celebi or Ho oh I cant remember if i got them)

I only played through a little bit of Pokemon XD. I know you can catch Lugia in it

I wish but the shadow pokemon games didn't sell enough. Reviewers at the time also trashed them so we might not be getting another one.

I loved colosseum but eventually I got stuck in the tower where you catch entei and I never could so I stopped playing.

XD looked cool but didn't include a pokemon like Jiarchi that was exclusive and Dark Lugia couldn't be transferred and I already had colosseum to play my GBA games in 3D so I didn't want to pay 50 bucks when the PS3 and other consoles were coming out, I kind of regret it

Eh, I thought Colosseum was better overall, but XD did have some better gameplay mechanics for dealing with Shadow Pokemon and visuals that didn't look like they ported it from the PS1.

As far as holding up to the main series? Eh, not so much.
