It's clearly not going to be a Switch exclusive, even during the reveal they made sure to call it the "HD project' and not the Switch project.

Not to mention the Switch has like a 3 million large install base globally and even the PS4 has that many in Japan alone.

Atlus seems to prefer focusing a game's development on one console, at least when it comes to their own devs. P5 was given a port since the PS3 was practically dead, but it clearly put a fuckhuge delay and increase in budget on the project that dampened the game's success.

Probably not. There's n overlap between the fanbases of both series, but there's a lot more people who will just play Persona. I hope the new SMT is on PS4, but I won't be at all surprised if it's only on Switch.

Not really. I love SJ, but I really don't think it needed a remake. I would have much preferred and SMT1 or 2 remake if they wanted to remake one of the games.

Atlus is probably against it due to how close they are with Sony and how involved Sony is with the production of the games (Aniplex is the studio behind the 2D animations, for example)

I hope it isn't exclusive. I'm never buying a Switch, and I don't want to play the game with blurry ass visuals.
