Why can't average /v/ermin handle Darkest Dungeon? Is

I can handle Darkest Dungeon, but I haven't finished it because it's tedious/repetitive/grindy.
I consider it a good game though.

But you can't deal with RNG because you are fucking trash player.

Meanwhile good players handle even NG+ with various challenges like no healers or no stuns.

I feel like a lot of the people that quit did so because of the time grind. Veteran and Champion add nothing but bloated numbers and one enemy. If they gated certain bosses behind said difficulties and drastically reduced the grind to get there it'd feel more engrossing since you'd actually feel like you're progressing toward something. As it stands though, the game just drags on once you hit roughly halfway through the veteran dungeons.

I beat it once on Darkest and was done. Might do Stygian once Crimson Court. Radiant doesn't really feel like it stymies the grind either, which is the huge issue.
