The Switch is a garbage piece of hardware before you even look at the specs of the thing. The software side of things could be promising but is currently the weakest Nintendo has ever been, they can't even port Mario Kart 8 without totally fucking it up. Meanwhile Nintendo without Iwata, under Kimishima have become the greediest fucking kikes on the planet. 300 for a tablet that's weaker than a PS4 and Xbone One/S and more expensive than both. A controller with zero special features that's being sold for 20 dollars more than the industry standard. 90-100 for an HDMI dock. 60 dollars for WiiU games with minimal feature additions. Paid online when their services and offerings are literally worse than they were on the 3DS and WiiU right now.

NuNintendo is a shit show and the Switch is bad in ways that maybe even a hardware revision wouldn't be able to totally fix.

I've been constantly playing ARMS matches with a low signal 40mb/s internet speed. No interuptions whatsoever except for the beginning where the Switch's signal was still a bit weak. Perhaps you should consider that it actually is about their own connectivity.

Anyway I prefer the Switch to the Wii U purely because the hardware seems.. coherent? I dunno but the Wii U tab and interface had this horrible clunk about them i couldn't get into. Switch is totally gimmicky, but to me it feels polished (hardware wise) and like the gimmicks were at least thought about a bit. Plus I love using handheld mode in my house and in cars, but for actual in public use, kek ain't nobody who says it's portable really does this.

I love my PS4 and my Switch desu, Switch is like a future investment for me though, but it needs to live up to its potential before i really praise it properly

They had refurbished WiiU's for 170 something for a minute. I doubt it's gone much higher, you can probably find better locally, and a lot of the library is cheap as fuck right now (there's a few ridiculous ones though, I'll grant you that, but it's gonna end up as a dreamcast tier collector thing so that's to be expected, plus you can just pirate all the games you can't find, or if you're a buyfag they're all on the eshop).
The Controllers are similarly cheap as fuck, and outside of gyro functionally identical to a Switch pro controller that's 20-30 dollars more.
All you need to do it pay for the console and the controllers/gamecube adapter you'll need to play the games you want and you're good to go.
